Using wooden plaques

Here is a tutorial for this. It is sooo cute! an you just imagine the possibilities!? You can do small versions to display hand prints/foot prints... you can make a button letter (like this). I am determined to make a button letter before this is over! And the top piece doesn't havveee to be a frame. It can be another plaque.. it can really be anything!

Using smaller plaques to make a name?! You could also use the plaques to write on them (paint..) and make it like a "you are my sunshine..." theme or whatever. My mind is about to explode with ideas, I can barely even type without making an error! I can't wait to get this new "shared room" under construction!

Recipes :)

With the holidays (and baby showers!) and FOOTBALLLL just around the corner... I've been thinking about all of the ways to spoil the family & friends with goodies! I can google recipes ALLLL day long... that is for sure. But it's a matter of gathering them and organizing them into a nice little spread for you all to look at :). I'll give it my best shot~

Here is a list of appetizers that look ridiculously delicious! But here are a few favorites::
Bacon wrapped Smokies topped with brown sugar
Indivual 7-layer dips
"Red Lobster-ish" biscuits (#yum)
Pumpkin bread (because WHO doesn't LOVE pumpkin bread?!)
Ruth's Chris sweet potatoes
Healthy guacamole (this is interesting.... and if you know me, you know I LOVE guac! never had it this way though..)

Heavenly Artichoke Dip
1 can water-packed artichoke hearts, drained
1 lb. mozzarella cheese, grated
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
1 c. mayonnaise
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
**Cut up artichoke hearts and and put in bottom of dish. Mix all ingredients and put over artichokes. Bake at 350 degrees until brown and bubbly.**

I'm thinkin to post this and then come back to it another day and add more. This is not (by any means) a sufficient food list... but here's a start!
